Amount / Benefits
Class XI–XII: ₹3,000 per year; ITI, Polytechnic and general degree courses: ₹6,000 per year; eligible professional courses such as engineering and medicine: up to ₹25,000 per year.
Eligibility
Students studying in recognised regular courses, generally from Class XI through postgraduate/professional levels. A parent must belong to a covered worker category and have at least six months of service. The applicable family-income ceiling is ₹21,000 per month or ₹2.52 lakh per year under the published guidelines. Other conditions apply, including passing the qualifying examination on the first attempt.
